Hello my lovely followers!!! Welcome to Disney Confession Friday!
Confession One:
Bahaha I feel like Johnny Depp would make that amazing if that actually happened.
Confession Two:
There's a Universal Program?? I need to check this out for backup....after all, they have Harry Potter World!
Confession Three:
I'm kind of mixed about this...because computer animation takes a LONG time to create, and all of the movie companies are moving towards 3D animation and more life-like productions. Though I do agree the hand-drawn look is special, I feel like it might just simply be outdated in order for Disney to keep competing with the other animation companies like DreamWorks.
Confession Four:
Gah I ADORE this song!!! I looove playing it on the piano and (attempting) to sing it.
I don't know what it is...but this video on Youtube just brought me to tears it was so stunning. It captures the beauty and legacy that is Disney, in no other beautiful and amazing way I have seen before. It was so perfect, I needed to share it with you. It's only five minutes, but I swear to you it will be worth your while.
The Wonders of Disney Animation
"Disney has practically become family to us. It's fairy tales, it's magic, it's everything we enjoyed and thought was possible when we were younger, and as we grow older, there's a lot of other things to enjoy: the artistry, the creativity, the imagination. There's literally no other word for it but Disney. It's an artistic cultural phenomenon that will never ever leave."
- Doug Walker (The Nostalgia Critic)
This reminded me why I'm going through these summer classes (to have a semester at the DCP), why I spend time sharing with my followers why I love Disney and why it is so important in our world. This video just made me overflow with love and nostalgia, and hope for the future as possibly working for the company in the college program.
Sorry for being so emotional, but it's 100% honest and 100% me.
I apologize for posting this much later in the day than usual. I've been super busy with summer classes as usual...working on a presentation for my music class..at least it's about John Williams! (Extremely popular movie theme composer. Think Star Wars, Indiana Jones, and Harry Potter.)
In honor of a recent rumor about Phil Collins apparently "dying in a car accident" this morning (which ISN'T TRUE), I will be dedicating this Disney Tune Tuesday to his amazing songs from the Disney film Tarzan!
Tarzan: Strangers Like Me
You'll Be In My Heart
Son of Man
I absolutely adore this soundtrack. I remember listening to it in the car 24/7 when I was younger. Probably my favorite soundtrack for a Disney movie! (Next to Lion King, of course.)
Which is your favorite song from Tarzan or Disney soundtrack?

Yesterday I went to see Brave with my family! It was really good! I'll write a review soon explaining my opinion and whatnot sometime soon but first I need to share with you the newest trailer for the latest Pixar project: Monsters University. I saw the preview on Youtube but it was also during the previews for Brave.
I have mixed feelings about this movie....but I bet it will still be great. I'm not too bitter about this prequel because it's been over ten years since the original.
Also, another preview before Brave was Finding Nemo 3D. God I love that movie. I came up with a new idea for everyone who wants a Finding Nemo 2: What if Pixar made a prequel, but focused on Dory's life? I know Ellen Degeneres is DYING to make a second one. She brings it up almost every week on her show. Dory is also probably my favorite Disney character ever. Just a thought ;)
What are your opinions?

In honor of the opening weekend for the newest Disney Pixar movie Brave, Disney Confessions Friday is going to consist of five Brave confessions!!! Before we get started...I want to share a milestone for The Disney Den.
Our Tumblr has officially passed 100 followers!!! Yeeee!!!!!
Okay, happy dance is over :) On to the confessions!
Confession One:
That's shocking...usually Disney characters should be role models to help people feel proud of their differences, not to make you feel better by having horrible opinions on characters..right?
Confession Two:
Good motto to live by:)
Confession Three:
Sucks for you...haha I'm kidding, we all have our own opinions. xD
Confession Four:
Excuse me, but Brave has been under production for YEARS. I highly doubt they just took those two movies and used their ideas. I bet Pixar even had the movie idea before How to Train Your Dragon even came out. So what if the title is similar to Braveheart? The stories are completely different. It's just a title. What matters is that it's original and unlike any of Pixar's other movies. Okay, my rant is done haha.
Confession Five:
That's right, girl power!!
Who's seeing the movie this weekend? I'm trying to convince my parents to make a trip with me while we're up visiting my grandparents. My mom wants to see Rock of Ages because Tom Cruise is in it...but so it will be tough to persuade her hehehe.
Hello and happy Tuesday! Today I'd like to share with you one of my favorite songs that I think goes under the radar from the movie Lilo and Stitch. The Hawaiian music is so much fun and different compared to other Disney movies. Definitely fun to listen to!
He Mele No Lilo
Original:
Fun Children's Polynesian Dance Performance!
I'm not going to post lyrics because they're in the first video :)
I hope you enjoy the song!
On a separate note, remember Brave is coming out this Friday!! Anyone going to go see it opening weekend? I'm going to try and go while I'm at my grandparents house!

A few months ago I made a post about my opinion on certain Pixar movie decisions. In said post, I shared a link that includes the future movie Disney movie projects (Pixar, Disney Channel..etc). I decided to take a look at the website yesterday, and discovered some interesting new additions to the list. Some sound interesting and exciting, and some I'm a little apprehensive about.
1) Swiss Family Robinson (2012): According to the website, the idea of remaking the original Swiss Family Robinson film from 1960 has been up in the air since 2004. Apparently it has been confirmed in 2009 that a remake is going to be created, with Will Smith, his wife Jada, and their three kids will be the main characters. The estimated release date was to be 2012, but there apparently hasn't been any production at the moment. This could just be a rumor, beings that it takes a few years for a movie to be made. There has been no information on the IMDB website, so either this is just a rumor, or they're pushing production to a later date.
2) The Hill (2013): I previously wrote about this movie in March. The Hill will be modeled off of Disney's infamous Matterhorn Bobsleds ride. A group of mountain climbers will try and scale the massive mountain, but only finds themselves in the midst of a giant and dangerous yeti. More detail in my previous post. Before when I wrote about it I couldn't find any more information on official websites such as IMDB, but it seems that now The Hill has it's own official page! Not much information on the page since the movie is still under development, but it's nice to have confirmation that the movie is under production!
3) MacFarland (2013): On both the Disney movie list website and IMDB it says that this movie is about, "A track coach in a small California town transforms a team of athletes into championship contenders." I'm curious on what town it is, since I live in California. Probably nowhere near me though. I'm assuming this is going to be like other heartwarming sports movies such as Glory Road.
4) Magic Kingdom (2013): Once again I mentioned this movie at the end of my post about The Hill, but at the time I was not able to retrieve very much information about it. Now it has been confirmed that the movie will be based off of the Kingdom Keepers books where the Disney theme parks come alive at night! How exciting is that? It has been compared to Night at the Museum, which are two movies I quite enjoyed. One of the big questions I have...why have I not heard of these books before today???
5) Tink (2013): There isn't much information on this movie either, but it has been said that Elizabeth Banks (who I have recently grown to love) will play a real life Tinkerbell. Maybe it will be a live action twist on Tinkerbell's life as depicted in the recent animated films? Only time will tell.
6) 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea: Captain Nemo (2013?): No, unfortunately this does not have to do with Finding Nemo...haha but apparently both Disney and Fox have decided to work on a remake film adaption to the famous book. Much like Snow White and the Huntsman and Mirror Mirror this year, it will be a race to see who creates the movie first. However, the Disney version does not have a completed script at the moment. David Fincher will be directing the movie.
7) Oz: The Great and Powerful (2013): Finally a movie with lots of information! The official IMDB page confirms that this movie will be a prequel to the legendary Wizard of Oz. It will be about how the wizard came to be the great and powerful ruler of Oz. The handsome James Franco will play Oz, Mila Kunis is Theodora (the Wicked Witch of the West), Rachel Weisz as Evanora (Wicked Witch of the East), and Michelle Williams will be Glinda. I'm personally very excited for this.
8) The Lone Ranger (2013): I'm excited for this one!!! Honestly right now it's because of the actors in it. Johnny Depp (as Tonto), Helena Bonham Carter, and Armie Hammer (as the Lone Ranger) will be the three main characters in the remake of the original Lone Ranger TV series. The difference between the movie and the TV series is that Tonto won't be as much of a sidekick, but more of a main character. Since it's Johnny Depp playing Tonto, I expected no less. It would be weird to have him play a minor character...just my opinion.
9) Monsters University (2013): Yes, a prequel to Monsters Inc. is being created and will release in June 2013. The original cast will be a part of the story before Mike, Sulley, and Randall were a part of Monsters Incoporated, otherwise known as their college years. This is really all I know about it, and I'm curious to see how it turns out. I'm keeping an open mind since I quite enjoyed the original movie, and it's been a significant amount of time (11 years!!) since the original came out.
10) National Treasure 3 (2014): I don't think I need to explain this much...another Nicholas Cage movie with explosions, historical references, quick assumptions from minimal amounts of clues...alright I'm being a bit harsh. I actually liked National Treasure. The second one held it's own too. But a third one? Okay...kind of getting predictable. The rumored treasures are: the Lost Colony of Roanoke, Atlantis, and the Fountain of Youth. They should probably avoid Fountain of Youth since that was the goal for Pirates: On Stranger Tides.
11) Jungle Cruise (2014): I guess Disney really wants to keep making movies out of the rides. I have no complaints, since I'm a huge fan of basically all of the rides. However, I hope they don't go too far and start overdoing it. Pirates was a huge success, but does anyone remember The Haunted Mansion? Not necessarily a box office hit. Jungle Cruise is apparently about a group of explorers (of course) cruising through a dangerous jungle in search for some kind of special cure. The movie list website mentions that Tim Allen and Tom Hanks are going to be starring in it...but I'm not sure how reliable that is because I would find that a huge coincidence since they're the voices of Buzz and Woody, the infamous duo. Speaking of Buzz and Woody....
12) Toy Story 4 (2015?): Yep. You heard me. They have announced that Toy Story 4 is going to be created. I have mixed feelings about this. I absolutely loved the trilogy...Buzz and Woody were my imaginary friends when I was really little. The second one might be my favorite. However, I feel like a fourth movie could be overdoing it. Who knows, they've been able to shock us with Toy Story 3 and create a treasured film, but I'm not sure what they'll do with the fourth one besides keep going with the toys' lives after Andy went to college. I thought they ended the third one perfectly to conclude the trilogy, but I guess they have something great to continue with. We'll have to see.
One thing I'm confused with is that Planes isn't on this list. I saw the trailer on Youtube yesterday, and it says that it's supposed to come out in 2013. Sounds like it might as well be a third Cars. Planes? Really? What's next...trains? Boats? Lawn mowers? Not too many people are digging the idea according to the comments on the video. What's your opinion? It'll be interesting to see which movies succeed and which movies are just rumors.

Happy ten week confession anniversary!! Crazy to think that we've been having these lovely Disney confession Fridays for ten weeks already.
I have to admit, I almost forgot today is Friday! Since summer classes started, I had to move my work days from Thursday to Friday...so my sense of time has been really off.
I hope you enjoy these confessions!
Confession One:
I love the companions!! Pascal, Meeko...they're so cute!
Confession Two:
THIS!!!!!!! I don't know who you are...but you are my soul mate.
Confession Three:
Aww what a heartwarming story :)
Confession Four:
I've wondered this too!!!
Confession Five:
Yes, you are the only one. Okay probably not but that's just my opinion when it comes to The Lion King ;)
I think these are five good ones this week! I still will stand by my Incredibles sequel demand...I know I've said that many many times but it's what I think needs to happen as long as Pixar sequels are being created.
I've been meaning to post some of my favorite Disney songs, but I feel like having one blog with all of my favorites would be overwhelming! Instead, I am now starting a new series every Tuesday called "Disney Tune Tuesday!" I got the idea from JAYA, who has "Tuney Tuesday" every week. It's fun to see and listen to different songs each week that the author enjoys and wants to share!
Each week I will post one of my favorite Disney songs from Youtube, as well as the lyrics and possibly either an a capella cover or instrumental cover of the same song to give a little variation.
Today, I'd like to share with you the song that is ALWAYS in my head: "I Won't Say I'm In Love" from Hercules.
If there's a prize for rotten judgmentI guess, I've already won thatNo man is worth the aggravationThat's ancient history, been there, done that
Who do you think you're kiddin'?He's the earth and heaven to youTry to keep it hidden
Honey, we can see right through youGirl, you can't conceal itWe know how you feel andWho you're thinking of?
No chance, no wayI won't say it, no, noYou swoon, you sighWhy deny it? Uh, oh
It's too clicheI won't say I'm in love
I thought my heart had learned its lessonIt feels so good when you start outMy head is screaming, get a grip, girlUnless you're dying to cry your heart out, oh
You keep on denyingWho you are and how you're feeling?Baby, we're not buyingHon, we saw you hit the ceiling
Face it like a grown upWhen you gonna own upThat you got, got, got it bad
No chance, now wayI won't say it, no, noGive up, give inCheck the grin you're in love
This scene won't playI won't say I'm in loveYou're doin' flips read our lipsYou're in love
You're way off baseI won't say itGet off my caseI won't say it
Girl, don't be proudIt's okay, you're in loveAt least out loudI won't say I'm in love The older I get...the more I can relate to this song. It kind of haunts me...always in my head. I can't remember a day where I haven't had the urge to sing it. Do you have a Disney song like that? Love Disney? Subscribe to The Disney Den right now for more!!
I was given the opportunity to write about a Disney magical moment I experienced sometime in my life for the lovely Ariel, owner of Disney Blue Fairy Shares Blog. I felt like just in case any of you were not following her (which you should!), I would share my Disney magical moment with you!
Color, Clarity, and Magic
I’ve been to the Disney parks quite a few times, but a trip
that stood out as extra magical was when I was able to go to Disney land with my best friend for her first time as a graduation present. It was our first big trip without
our parents, and it was her first Disney experience. It was so much fun
introducing her to the parks for the first time, seeing her expression and awe
about how detailed and elaborate everything was in comparison to other theme
parks. I have to admit I was a little jealous that she was experiencing
everything for the first time. That is definitely a special moment that no one
can ever forget (unless you were super little). I’ve been to Disney World and on a Disney Cruise
once, while I’ve been to Disneyland numerous times since I’m from California
and it’s much closer. I thought I had seen it all. That is, until I saw the
World of Color.
The World of Color changed my life. Seriously. I had
originally planned on majoring in psychology in college, but my visit to
Disneyland started to really make the wheels in my mind turn. I had this
feeling deep down that I needed to do something with my life that involved
Disney, but I wasn’t sure how or if it was the right choice. When I saw World
of Color, all of that changed. It was so brilliant, so beautiful and amazing; I
knew I had to be a part of this magic. Seeing hundreds of people in awe
watching this show that reminded me of the beauty of all the Disney movies,
nothing can compare to that kind of magic.
After the trip I went home and did some research on some
possible careers with Disney. I went through possibly engineering, art, design,
and the other typical routes one would take to get into animation and/or the
Imagineers. Finally a few months into my first semester in college, I found
marketing. I finally felt like this was what I was meant to do with my life.
All thanks to the World of Color. J
Here's a video of the full show! Of course, it's more amazing in person. But if you haven't seen the World of Color, this is a perfect example to the show's brilliance! (When I saw it, I was in the very front!!!) Gosh I get chills whenever I watch this. Especially during the Pirates part. The flames were so hot!! I also nearly started crying by the end..that song called "So Close" by Jon McLaughlin is the song I want to be played at my wedding. I love it so much.

It's our final set of Alfred Angelo's Disney wedding jewelry! We will close with the final two Disney princesses: Tiana from Princess and the Frog and Rapunzel!
I don't know why there's only two rows instead of three for Tiana...but either way I love these! I really like the necklace in the bottom row with the bracelet and earrings. The top earrings are really cute too.
Again...I'm not sure why it has less jewelry than the rest of the princesses, but it might be because they are the newest princesses. I like the simplicity of this set :)
This concludes the Fairy Tale Wedding jewelry series! Which also concludes all of the sets that are included in the Alfred Angelo Disney Fairy Tale Wedding collection. I hope you enjoyed them!
The next series I will be showing is the Disney prom dresses by Alfred Angelo. Unfortunately they don't categorize the dresses into princesses like the wedding collection, but I will find a way to break them up so I don't put all of the dresses up at once (that'd be a little overwhelming).
I hope you all have had a great weekend! I'm currently watching Ratatouille on ABC Family. I feel like this movie flies under the radar too much.

I think all of these pieces of jewelry are stunning. My favorite necklace is the bottom left, favorite bracelet is probably the middle, and I love the bottom right earrings! This is one of the best collections, if you ask me.
I think this is the most unique collection. The flower earrings are so cute! I love the bracelet as well. The pearls are beautiful and the bottom collection is also stunning.
One more pair of jewelry sets left for the Alfred Angelo collection! Which one is your favorite?
If you like Disney, then you definitely need to subscribe to The Disney Den!
It's been a hugely productive week for The Disney Den, increasing likes on Facebook, followers on here, Tumblr, and Twitter. I would just like to say thank you to everyone!
And now, the next five Disney confessions!
(For more Disney confessions, go here! These do not belong to me, all credit goes to Walt Disney Confessions Tumblr.)
Confession One:
I make my friends watch Disney movies with me...thankfully they like watching too! But this is how I feel with people who make fun of me for loving Disney. I'm sure fellow Disney fanatics can agree!
Confession Two:
This is amazing. Just proves the power and magic Disney holds and shares with others. Also, Aladdin is one of my favorites!
Confession Three:
Oh dear....that can definitely be a problem.
Confession Four:
That's so sad :'(
Confession Five:
It's funny because I was talking about this to a friend last night, just kind of accepting the fact that they've influenced our view of love. I just think, it's better to be positive than have no hope, right?
In my opinion, these are some pretty good confessions this week! Feel free to share your thoughts!
If you want weekly confessions or any fun Disney updates, subscribe to The Disney Den!
I heard about this movie back when I was looking up the future Disney/Pixar movies when I wrote my mini Pixar rant a few months ago, but I didn't know it was going to look this good! I found the trailer today, take a look!
This is exactly the originality I was craving from Disney. And goodness when I heard the name Jane Lynch and saw Bowser in the intervention circle...I was hooked. Such a creative idea!
The official website for the movie has downloadable photos, more information on the story, and you can play the actual Wreck-It Ralph arcade game! Reminds me of the old games like Mappy and Pac Man, which makes me happy :)
Wreck-It Ralph is in theaters November 2nd, 2012!
Subscribe to The Disney Den for your everyday Disney needs! ;)
Welcome to the second set to the Alfred AngeloDisney Fairy Tale Wedding jewelry collection! Today I will be sharing with you Cinderella and Princess Jasmine! If you missed part one of the series, make sure you take a look!
Oh my goodness the necklace in the middle row on the left is breathtaking. The earrings in the top and bottom right are also! (Can you tell that I'm an earring girl?)
I hope you all are having a fantastic week! It's certainly been a busy one for me. I can't believe it's only Wednesday! Summer classes start next week :( Thankfully it's only two classes for a little bit of the day. Don't worry, I'll still be posting regularly!
If you like Disney, then you definitely need to subscribe to The Disney Den now!
The final parts of Alfred Angelo's Disney Fairy Tale Wedding series include the gorgeous jewelry created for each princess! Since each princess has about nine pieces of jewelry, I will be posting two princesses at a time. Today we shall be looking at Ariel and Belle's stunning necklaces and earrings!
I love the earrings in the middle row on the very right! I also really like the collection in the bottom row!
Short and sweet post :)
Last Friday I went and saw Snow White and the Huntsman. Originally I didn't want to see it but my friend offered to pay for half of my ticket so I caved. Since I also saw Mirror Mirror (another Snow White movie that came out this year) I want to share my opinion with you about both movies and which one I preferred. I know they weren't Disney movies, but Snow White is obviously a famous Disney princess! I will be posting my opinion on those very soon!
In the meantime, if you love Disney and can't wait for more updates, subscribe to The Disney Den!
