Unfortunate False Alarm

Last night while I was browsing on Yahoo to check my mail, I noticed a disheartening news report on the main homepage titled: "Fan Made Poster Imagines Ryan Gosling as Walt Disney."

My heart quickly sank.

Unfortunately, it seems that the movie poster previously found online was just a fan-made art to stir up rumors (and in the process break many Disney fanatics hearts). I have to admit I was a little skeptical about the whole thing when I started trying to research any details about the movie on Google and Ryan Gosling's IMBD profile. Usually there would have been some slight hint or message addressing the state of production of this movie, but absolutely nothing showed up.

I'm still pulling for a movie though! Walt deserves one! Especially after the major impact he's made on this world. His life definitely wasn't an easy one, and people need to know how he managed to accomplish so much and go through so much hardship. I will always remember reading about the time where he had to take baths in the water fountain at the local train station and didn't have a steady place to sleep. He's proof you can go from so little and achieve so much in your life if you stay determined and put your mind through it.

Oh, and it'd be nice to put aside the rumors that his body is frozen and they're trying to bring him back to life....I've read that he was cremated a few days after he passed away. Seems a lot more logical and realistic, don't you think?

  1. I agree with you - a movie about Walt is deserved. That was a fantastically done poster - definately surprised it wasn't..."real!"

  2. I agree with you! But apparently the same artist has made false posters in the past...who knows, maybe this will stimulate some movie producers to actually make a movie! :)
